Tuill (Gaelic for “openings, gaps”) captures the Skye landscape veiled in winter haze, with beams of light breaking through cloud. Subtle pinks and gold shimmer across the hills, dissolving land into atmosphere.
Even the canvas itself shaped the work — the central strut marks, often seen as flaws, became a shaft of light. That transformation reflects fragile mental health: how what feels like weakness can, when approached with care, become an opening where light and resilience emerge.
